Product Description
Hammer Reckoning Bowling Ball
Hammer has led every performance category, and the Hammer Reckoning is its strongest ball yet. The Zero Mercy Solid already brings big hook. The Reckoning adds a different kind of heavy-oil motion: earlier and rounder than the Zero Mercy Solid, built to control the midlane instead of saving energy for one sharp move downlane.
The power starts with the new Vindicator asymmetric core. Its RG of 2.474 is lower than the Zero Mercy Solid's 2.524, and its asymmetry is stronger than the Spawn's. That gets the ball revving early and keeps it working through the heaviest part of the pattern. Think of the Spawn's shape, but earlier, stronger and with more of everything that made it so effective.
The core is wrapped in the aggressive HK22C² Solid coverstock, the same cover chemistry behind the Zero Mercy Solid and Spawn. It comes from the factory at 500, 1000 Siaair Micro Pad, so it digs in early and grips hard through the midlane. This isn't a skid/flip ball. It is an early, powerful, controlled hook that holds its line in the oil and keeps driving through the pins. When the pattern is long, fresh and heavy, it's time for the Reckoning.

Hammer Reckoning FAQ
Is the Reckoning Hammer's strongest bowling ball?
Yes. The Reckoning is Hammer's strongest ball to date, built for the heaviest oil conditions in the lineup.
How is the Reckoning different from the Zero Mercy Solid?
Both use HK22C² Solid cover technology. The Reckoning pairs it with the new Vindicator core, which has a lower RG (2.474 vs. 2.524), and comes with a 500, 1000 finish instead of 500, 1500. It reads the lane earlier and makes a rounder, more controlled move, while the Zero Mercy Solid saves more energy for a stronger turn downlane.
How does the Reckoning compare to the Spawn?
It has a similar shape to the Spawn, but it starts earlier, hooks harder and has more asymmetry. Use it when the Spawn isn't strong enough for the oil.
What kind of ball motion does the Reckoning have?
It is an early, powerful, controlled hook. It reads the midlane hard and keeps a strong, rounded motion through the pins instead of a sharp skid/flip.
What lane conditions is the Reckoning best for?
It is made for heavy oil, especially long, fresh patterns and high-volume conditions where other balls skid too far.
What is the Vindicator core?
It is Hammer's new asymmetric weight block. Its low RG and increased asymmetry produce an early roll, strong flare and lots of midlane traction.
What is the factory finish?
It comes out of the box at 500, 1000 Siaair Micro Pad.
What weights are available?
The Reckoning is offered in weights of 12 to 16 lbs.
What is the warranty?
Hammer covers its reactive balls for two years from the purchase date.
