DV8 Outsider Bowling Ball
Most bowling balls are built around a traditional thumb hole. The DV8 Outsider is built for bowlers who don't use one. It uses DV8's patent-pending No Thumb core technology, which was designed around how two-handed and no-thumb players release the ball rather than around standard core numbers. The result is easy length, a very smooth motion through the midlane, and a strong, controlled turn at the breakpoint.
The HK22 – Jailbreak (F7) solid reactive coverstock gets through the front of the lane cleanly and then reads the midlane evenly instead of jerking off the dry. That smooth shape makes the Outsider easy to trust on medium oil and keeps it in play as the lanes change. Inside, the Renegade asymmetric core works with DynamiCore outer core technology to reduce compression at impact, which means more hitting power and better pin carry. Durability Optimization Technology (DOT) helps it hold its performance over time.
The Outsider also responds well to layout changes. With a benchmark layout, it gives a versatile motion that works on many lane conditions. A taller pin and a stronger layout create a sharper move through the pins. Placing the pin closer to the fingers gives a smoother, more controlled shape for managing friction. No-thumb bowlers can tune their reaction through the drilling without changing balls. The Outsider can also be drilled with a thumb hole, so traditional one-handed bowlers can get the same smooth, easy-length motion.
