Product Description
Radical Vexed Variant Bowling Ball
The Vexed line grows with the Radical Vexed Variant, a stronger take on a design bowlers already trust. It uses an updated version of the proven Vexed core and keeps the 3-to-1 total-to-intermediate differential ratio that gave the original Vexed its signature motion. The difference is a higher total differential, which adds flare and overall hook for heavier oil.
The numbers show the step up. With an RG of 2.490, a Differential of 0.045 and an Intermediate Differential of 0.015, the Vexed Variant revs up with more energy than the original. It still has the predictable, continuous shape that Vexed bowlers count on. Radical's DynamiCore outer core technology reduces compression at impact, giving more hitting power, a stronger sound and better pin carry.
On the outside, the HK22C+ Solid coverstock comes from the factory at a 500, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad finish. It grabs the lane noticeably earlier and creates more total hook than the original Vexed. Radical's R&D testers consistently picked the Variant as the stronger overall ball, a clear step up when you need more traction. Built for heavier oil, the Vexed Variant pairs more hook and flare with a strong, continuous motion that keeps driving through the pins.

Radical Vexed Variant Ball FAQ
How is the Vexed Variant different from the original Vexed?
The Vexed Variant has an updated Vexed core with a lower RG (2.490 vs. 2.498) and higher total differential (0.045 vs. 0.036), which adds flare and hook potential. Its HK22C+ Solid cover is finished at 500, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad instead of 500, 1000, 3000, so it reads the lane earlier and hooks more overall.
What is the 3-to-1 differential ratio?
The total differential is about three times the intermediate differential. That ratio defined the original Vexed's smooth, predictable, continuous motion, and the Vexed Variant keeps it while adding more overall strength.
What lane conditions is the Vexed Variant best for?
It is designed for heavier oil, where earlier traction and more flare help the ball keep its shape and drive through the pins.
Where does it fit with the Vexed and Evil Eye?
It is the strongest ball of the three. Use it on fresh or heavier patterns, then move to the original Vexed or the Evil Eye as the lanes break down and you need more length.
What are the six drilling options?
Like the Evil Eye and the original Vexed, Radical created six drilling options for the Vexed Variant. They let your pro shop fine-tune the reaction, from smoother and more controlled to stronger and more angular, to fit your speed, rev rate and lane conditions.
What is the factory finish?
It comes out of the box at 500, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad.
What weights are available?
The Vexed Variant comes in 12 to 16 lbs.
What is the warranty?
Radical covers it for two years from the purchase date.
