Product Description
Radical Intel Recon Hybrid Bowling Ball
The Intel is one of Radical's best-selling and most requested balls of all time, and the Intel Recon brought its smooth, readable motion back for today's game. The Radical Intel Recon Hybrid takes the next step, adding more strength while keeping the benchmark shape that made the Intel name famous.
The upgrade is in the cover. The Intel Recon used an HK22 Pearl cover. The Recon Hybrid switches to an HK22 Hybrid reactive coverstock, finished at 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair with Factory Compound. The hybrid cover gets more traction in the midlane and reads the lane a little sooner, so the Recon Hybrid is stronger than the original Intel Recon and still gets easy length and a clean look through the front.
Inside is the Modified Intel Symmetric weight block, with an RG of 2.483 and a total differential of 0.032. It gives a very stable, predictable roll that shows you exactly what the lanes are doing, which makes it a great first ball on a new pattern. DynamiCore outer core technology reduces compression at impact, giving more hitting power, a stronger sound and better pin carry. Bowlers who liked the Intel Recon but wanted a little more hook will find the Recon Hybrid the natural next choice.

Radical Intel Recon Hybrid FAQ
How is the Intel Recon Hybrid different from the Intel Recon?
Both use the Modified Intel Symmetric core with the same RG and differential. The Intel Recon has an HK22 Pearl cover, while the Recon Hybrid uses an HK22 Hybrid cover. That gives it more midlane traction and makes it the stronger of the two.
What makes the Intel Recon Hybrid a good benchmark ball?
Its low-differential symmetric core produces a stable, predictable roll that doesn't overreact. You can read the lane easily and decide whether to move to something stronger or weaker.
What lane conditions is it best for?
It works best on medium oil and typical league house shots. Its hybrid cover gives it a bit more hold than the pearl Intel Recon in the oil.
Who should use the Intel Recon Hybrid?
It is a good fit for league and tournament bowlers who want a dependable benchmark ball, and for anyone who liked the Intel or Intel Recon but wants a little more hook.
How does it fit with the Intel Recon and Intel Tour?
All three share the Intel symmetric core design. The Recon Hybrid gives you a hybrid cover option between the length of the pearl Intel Recon and the controlled solid look of the Intel Tour.
What is the factory finish?
It comes out of the box at 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair with Factory Compound.
What weights are available?
The Intel Recon Hybrid comes in 12 to 16 lbs.
What is the warranty?
Radical covers it for two years from the purchase date.
