WOW!!!!
My Swag Black Dragon Pearl is drilled 45 x 5 x 70, and I still can't believe the level of control this ball gives me. From the very first game, I noticed how versatile and predictable it is, making it a go-to option no matter how the lanes transition. The motion is smooth through the front, strong in the mid-lane, and the way it drives through the pins is simply incredible—it's the kind of hit that makes you stop and stare. In fact, during one league night, a bowler six lanes down actually came over and asked me what I was throwing because he could hear the ball smashing the pins all the way from where he was. That's the kind of power and continuation this ball delivers. The Black Dragon Pearl is more than hype—it's performance you can feel and hear. Trust me, get one and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Down lane hook monster
60/4/30 Hook monster for a pearl. This ball I put my standard layout and man does this ball come off the spot. It has good length down lane and then rips off the down lane target. Compared to the solid, this ball hooks a lot more down lane and has a hockey stick shape. The colors define fire and the asymmetric core kicks in and hits like a fiery beast. Make sure to get you a Dragon shammy to clean the beast before each throw.

Beware the Black Dragon Pearl
After the Black Dragon solid release in January, I was highly anticipating this release and it has not disappointed. I laid the ball out the same as my Dragon solid (pin above bridge and mass bias a couple inches right of my thumb toward my PAP) and the Dragon pearl is cleaner, a little more length down the lane but still the same powerful turn to the pocket I had fallen in love with. Pin carry is phenomenal, the motion is strong and predictable and control is easy. It’s a ball that can handle fresh oil conditions in the event that the Dragon solid is a bit too much or too early. It really handles the transition with ease and can either be the first ball out of the bag or an easy ball to step down to after the original Black Dragon. The Dragon Pearl is a beautiful color with the red/black swirl. Tremendous follow up release to the solid and one that should not be overlooked.
