The Motiv Raptor Pursuit solves a common problem with strong heavy-oil balls. Covers aggressive enough for heavy oil usually grab early and burn energy in the front of the lane, costing you backend motion. The Raptor Pursuit takes a different approach. It pairs Motiv's strongest symmetrical core with one of its cleanest pearl covers, so you get the stability of a big core without giving up length and a sharp move down lane.
Inside is the Affliction V2 Symmetric core, the most powerful symmetric weight block in Motiv's lineup. Its low 2.48 RG in 15 and 16 lbs helps the ball rev up quickly for stability and control in the oil. The differential of up to .055 gives it 5"+ of flare potential, rolling fresh cover onto the lane as the pattern changes. Because it's symmetric, the motion is smooth and predictable, with strong continuation through the pins.
The cover is Aerial Propulsion Pearl Reactive, finished at 5500 Grit LSP. It's the second-cleanest shell in Motiv's Propulsion family, behind only the Dark Matter Propulsion cover on the Nebula. It saves energy through the heads, glides through the midlane and turns hard when it reaches friction. The result is a big core, a clean cover and a strong backend reaction, wrapped in a bold red, gold and burgundy pearl with a pearl-white Raptor logo.
