Product Description
The new Hammer Purple Solid Reactive bowling ball is an exciting and unique ball, just as the Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane ball is. The Purple Pearl Urethane ball sells because it performs, and there’s nothing like it in bowling; the Hammer Purple Solid Reactive will be successful for the same reason. The new Purple Solid Reactive started as an experiment to see how a strong reactive shell would perform around the high RG and low differential LED core, and the results were remarkable. The core is the exact same as the urethane model; however, the numbers are different due to the density of the reactive shell versus the urethane; this raises the differential and creates more flare, producing a stronger and more angular backend motion. The Hammer Purple Solid Reactive bowling ball will be useful for bowlers who find urethane too weak when others are scoring with it, and higher rev players will love it across a wide range of conditions.

Very Predictable Motion
The Hammer Purple Reactive gives me a predictable ball motion. I get a urethane type shape but a little stronger and with a little more forgiveness on misses that I don’t get from urethane. I use this sometimes on house shots and it really excels on shorter sport patterns where a ton of guys are throwing urethane. I have an above average rev rate but not up there with the 2 handers, so this allows me to play the same area of the lane as I would with urethane but I can stay in this ball longer and it doesn’t react as poorly when they start to transition. Bonus, it still hits like a Purple Hammer since it’s a 2-piece ball. I went with 60 x 4.5 x 40 for my layout for a benchmark type shape. https://youtube.com/shorts/-m2za6ZQWTA?feature=share

Hammer Purple Solid Reactive
I threw the Purple Solid Reactive against my Purple Pearl Urethane and I like what I saw. You can see a similar controlled shape. As it was designed, the reactive is much more ball overall. For me on a THS, I had to move about 7 & 3 left with the reactive. Although it is a low flare, control shape it hits pretty hard and goes through the pins well. This should be a good ball for those that have a hard time getting Urethane to tip up and hit.

Hammer Purple Reactive a Purple Ball for All
The Purple Hammer Reactive filled a void in my league and tournament bags. I’m one of those bowlers that struggled to find the right right shape when it comes to throwing urethane. Ive also been the guy when everyone is throwing urethane your trying to find something to match up where everyone else is playing but just can’t! Well now you can with the all new Purple Reactive. This will be the ball you use on those shorter conditions or the burnt up lane conditions when you need to control the hook area more effective! I’m really glad Hammer came out with a Purple Ball that I can throw effectively! Bowling Ball Layout: 65 x 3.5 x 40
