Product Description
The Hammer Dark Web has been a great benchmark type of motion for Hammer fans, and we’re excited to introduce the new Hammer Dark Web Hybrid bowling ball featuring HK22. HK22 has become the hottest new cover technology in bowling, producing incredible reaction shape where bowlers want to see it most. The Hammer Dark Web Hybrid has the same modified Spheroid core with a dense flip block that helped make the Dark Web Solid so popular. The familiar core and addition of HK22 finished with 2000 Siaair will give Hammer fans a stronger mid-lane and backend motion.

Perfect
Been a bowler for over 35 years. I took a 10 year break and now back to bowling. I was using my original 30 year old ball. Needless to say it was WAY outdated. Did some research and found the “Dark Web”. Seemed perfect for my style. Ordered ball and received it extremely fast. Had a pro shop drill it for me. Threw it for the first time this weekend. WOW! What a difference. Ball is balanced and hooks perfectly. Definitely see my average increasing. Gebhardts did an outstanding job with their help and advice. Only issue I had was, I bought the ball and 2 weeks later it went on sale for $20 less. Emailed Gebhardts for a possible refund, but never heard back. Other than that I’m totally happy.

Hammer Dark Web Hybrid
The new Hammer Dark Web Hybrid looks to be an excellent choice for a benchmark type of ball. It picks ups the mid lane nicely without grabbing too hard and has plenty of shape going through the pins. It is smooth and controllable. Where this ball separates itself from others in the "benchmark" category, in my opinion, is you are able to stay in this ball longer. When the transition forces you left, benchmark balls tend to lose energy a little early and you start leaving pesky corner pins. The DWH has a little thing called HK22 built into the cover stock, which I believe allows the ball to keep more energy and hitting power. Let's call this one a Benchmark Plus.
