Product Description
Announcing the Ebonite Turbo X—a bold leap forward while looking at the past! We went into the archives to reimagine the very first reactive ball Ebonite ever created, and we’ve returned with an updated version that’s once again ahead of its time. The Turbo X keeps the original core shape simple and effective, but with a game-changing update: instead of a thick shell, we’ve wrapped the Turbo core in DynamiCore for increased durability and performance. This method allows for stronger core numbers, ensuring the Turbo X exceeds expectations on today’s lane conditions. And the most significant upgrade? The cover. We’ve fused Ebonite’s proven GB10.7 Solid coverstock with the HK22 base to deliver a reaction that meets the needs of modern bowlers. The Ebonite Turbo X isn’t just a ball—it's a piece of bowling history redefined.

Ebonite Turbo X
Many, many moons ago I was bowling in a US Open qualifier. Circa 1992. I was wrenching on my favorite Blue Hammer and could barely get it to wrinkle. A gentleman on the pair next to me was throwing the first ever Reactive bowling ball, the Ebonite Turbo X. Long story short, he won the tournament by a lot, and everyone was scrambling to buy a Turbo X. I drilled the new version recently and it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. It is very clean through the fronts and mids and has a strong rounded motion down lane. Much like the 1992 version, it strikes a lot. It passes the eye test. I like it
